Andy & Mat will soon be adding yet another variation to the Mr Sneaks family with an entirely new fully acoustic duo. With not an off beat chord in sight, the new acoustic set will comprise songs penned by Andy and Mat over the past.... erm... christ...20 years. Some are brand new, some are literally 20 years old !! Coming this autumn......

Mr Sneaks to headline the PUNK & PROTEST BENEFIT CONCERT
We're pleased to announce that Mr Sneaks will be headlining the Anti-Big Society Benefit Concert on September 3rd at Hollywood & Vine. It will be a marathon event running from 1pm Saturday through to 1.30am Sunday and we will be taking the stage around midnight.

Where's Mat gone?!? An update from the drumster..
Anyone that's seen Mr Sneaks live recently, may have noticed that I have transformed myself into a much younger, slimmer and more talented drummer.
For the benefit of the 2 or 3 people wondering where I've gone, I had to have an operation on my neck (C6-7 Anterior Cervical Discectomy & Fusion) on May 18th so had to give up the drum stool for a while until it heals properly.
Above: 28 staples holding my head on and a pipe sticking out of my neck.
In the meantime, I will be performing with Mr Sneaks on guitar (or bass when Adam needs a fag break and another beer). I still can't manage a live gig just yet, but should be good to go in another couple of weeks :)
I will also be performing with Andy and Ciaran as "Skalarks" from 30th July onwards, so check out the Skalarks sub-site for gig listings and stuff !!
In the meantime, massive thanks to Ciaran for jumping behind the kit for me !!
Also thanks to Lindsay Simpson's younger brother (I don't know his name, so I'll have to call him Bart) for filling in for Ciaran for a couple of gigs.... a stand in drummer for our stand in drummer... hardcore !!

Hollywood & Vine Returns !!
We're delighted to report that contrary to popular belief, Hull's top rock pub has NOT closed down and will be open for business once again from March 2nd. We hope to secure plenty more shows there shortly... keep an eye on the gigs section for dates.

We're sorry to report that Andy's mum Christine passed away on 2nd February 2011. Our thoughts are with Andy and his family at this difficult time.

New Album !!
That's right !! Mr Sneaks will begin work on a brand new album in the new year. Expected release will be Summer 2011, but it depends if we can be arsed.
Andy and Mat have started penning new tracks and so far the new songs are sounding utterly fantastic !!

Mr Sneaks are proud to present the "Pull Mi Finger" night !! The first friday of each and every month, Hollywood & Vine will be letting Mr Sneaks (and guests) loose !! The orange jump suits will be on, the guitar and bass might be in tune and the drums will be in time.... at times. Mr Sneaks might play 1 set, 2 sets, 3 sets or just piss about for a few hours hoping somebody will buy them a drink. We shall see.......
