Mr Sneaks

Mr Sneaks started life in around 1991. Mat and Andy met and began to write.

We wrote a lot. The first recorded collaboration was under the name "Spellcast" in 1992 and the "Nice To See You" album/demo was created using an Amstrad 4 track.

Eventually we decided to get a band together and "Squash" was born. A seven piece Ska / Pop band did the rounds for a year or so...

During 1995 and 1996, Squash performed as a 7 peice, 6 peice, 5 peice, 4 peice...... you get the idea.....

1996 and Squash finally died a death... Mat leaves to pursue girls, the other remaining members leave / go to prison / join the circus....

Andy continued to write and play.....

During 1996 to 2004 Andy kept the band going by performing and writing with a number of players as The Sneaks.

2005 and Mat came back for a year playing bass for The UK Sneaks, then buggered off again....the nob. Adam took over as bass player. Adam was well known to Andy and Mat as a proper piss head and raving lunatic. Bass duties were in safe(ish) hands.

2010 and after some prompting, threats, and mockery, Mat returned to the fold, this time as the drummer and the band is re-named Mr Sneaks.

So here were are today.... Andy keeping the songs together, Mat playing 1 of the 2 rhythms that he knows (not always at the right time.. or in time) and Adam doing whatever he likes whilst drinking heavily throughout.

THIS, lords, ladies and gentlemen is Mr Sneaks... nearly 20 years of stupidiy and still going strong !!!!.
